Together with fellow students, family and friends, numerous professors, and many guests from politics and business, the successful graduation was celebrated.

470 Bachelor's students and 79 Master's students successfully completed their studies at HNU this year. With around 650 people, Neu-Ulm University (HNU) celebrated this year's graduates at the Congress Centrum in Ulm. Katrin Albsteiger, mayor of the city of Neu-Ulm, was also a guest.
HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser opened the ceremony with a mountaineering metaphor: "Today you pack your backpacks and leave the 'Base Camp HNU' for the future. With a lot of perseverance and after quite a few meters of altitude, you now reach the summit cross. On behalf of the entire university administration, I congratulate you on this achievement." In her speech, she encouraged the graduates to take new paths and to trust in the skills they have acquired. Feser also welcomed the numerous representatives from companies, organizations and politics and thanked them for their commitment: "You have all contributed in many ways to the success of our graduates, and we are particularly pleased about that."

This was followed by a greeting from Katrin Albsteiger, who congratulated the graduates on their success: "The city of Neu-Ulm is very proud of this university, which produces such graduates. Excellent career opportunities in the region await you, for which I wish you all the best."

Florian Holley, alumnus of the Information Management and Corporate Communications program and photographer for the evening, also addressed the guests with a few words. In a humorous way, he gave the audience insights into a wide variety of topics from HNU's three faculties, shared his personal study experiences and expressed his admiration for all those who were able to hold their graduation certificates in their hands that evening.
