Data protection officer of the HNU
According to Art. 38 para. 3 DSGVO, the data protection officer is not bound by instructions in the performance of his duties and is obliged to maintain confidentiality according to Art. 38 para. 5 DSGVO and Art. 12 para. 2 BayDSG.
The tasks and duties of an official data protection officer are regulated in Art. 39 DSGVO and include in particular
- Information and advice for managers, processors and employees
- Monitoring compliance with the DSGVO and special national regulations
- Awareness raising and training
- Advice and supervision in relation to data protection impact assessment
- Cooperation with the supervisory authority
