Since 2013, Dr Peter Fuss has been teaching students the basics of international politics as well as the foreign and security policies of nation states and collective security systems. He also teaches media and press relations in small and medium-sized enterprises. "It is a great honour for me to be able to make such an appreciation in my office as President. The German university community can be pleased that Dr Fuss is willing to pass on his extensive in-depth knowledge to students in teaching assignments," says Prof. Dr Uta M. Feser.
Enriching teaching with knowledge from practice
Dr. Peter Fuss joined the German Armed Forces in 1978 and studied at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich. Dr Fuss completed his studies in 1984 with a degree in education. In July 2020, he received his doctorate from the Institute for Ethics, History and Theory of Medicine at LMU Munich. After holding various posts and functions in the German Armed Forces, he retired from active service in March 2013 to devote himself to his work as a university lecturer at the HNU.
