HNU graduate Luca Fuchs honoured with Bavarian Culture Prize

21.11.2024, Press Release :

The Master's thesis of Luca Fuchs, a graduate of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), was a winner: he was awarded the Bavarian Culture Prize in the science category for his research into the market launch of a road-rail excavator on the American market for the Liebherr company. On 14 November, the HNU alumnus accepted the prize of 3,000 euros, which is awarded annually by Bayernwerk and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts for outstanding scientific achievements.

Luca Fuchs is a graduate of the Advanced Sales Management and Intelligence master's programme and wrote his master's thesis in collaboration with Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH. He focussed on the question of how two two-way machines can be established as efficiently and successfully as possible on the US market. The core of the thesis is the development of a market launch strategy based on an established method. The results clearly show that the US market has great potential for Liebherr-Hydraulikbagger GmbH.
