At the 15th IT Congress Neu-Ulm | Ulm, the focus is on people in the digital future. With the aim of presenting applicable IT knowledge and realisable solutions, the conference is aimed at company representatives from all sectors, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises as well as university staff and students.
16 lectures, four subject areas and two keynotes
After the welcoming address by Prof. Dr Jens Kolb, Vice President of HNU, Katrin Albsteiger, Mayor of Neu-Ulm, and Prof. Dr Philipp Brune, initiator of the IT Congress and professor at HNU, Prof. Dr Kai Bongs from the German Aerospace Centre will give the first keynote speech at 9.30 am. In his lecture entitled "IT challenges and opportunities through quantum technologies", he will show what possibilities already exist in quantum technology today and discuss the resulting opportunities in the IT sector. At 1.30 pm, Manuel Bach from the Federal Office for Information Security will give recommendations for effective and realisable protective measures in the keynote speech "How SMEs can effectively protect themselves against cyber threats". In 16 specialist presentations, IT experts will address topics of practical relevance and provide congress participants with valuable tips for day-to-day operations and for overcoming future challenges. Coffee breaks between the presentations invite participants to exchange ideas and network.
IT trade fair
At the trade fair in the foyer of the HNU, 17 companies from the IT sector will be presenting their products and innovations and inviting visitors to talk shop. Potential employers and employees can also find each other here.
Über den IT-Kongress Neu-Ulm | Ulm
Seit 2010 findet der IT-Kongress jährlich im November statt und lockt regelmäßig über 400 Teilnehmende an die Hochschule Neu-Ulm. Ausgerichtet wird der IT-Kongress von der Hochschule Neu-Ulm, der Technischen Hochschule Ulm und dem Stadtentwicklungsverband Ulm/Neu-Ulm in Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen Unternehmen sowie mit Unterstützung der Industrie- und Handelskammern (IHK) Schwaben und Ulm.
