HNU student initiatives donate 1,300 euros to the Aufschnaufhaus

20.12.2019, Press Release :

Students of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) organize an annual Christmas market on campus, the entire proceeds of which are donated. This year 1,300 euros were collected. The donation went to the Aufschnaufhaus in Jungingen.

This year's Christmas market was a cooperation between the student representatives, the move initiative and the Lions Club Campus Neu-Ulm. In addition, other students also contributed as helpers. For three days they sold waffles and mulled wine or punch on the lakeside terrace of the HNU. The proceeds of 1,300 euros were handed over to the Aufschnaufhaus before Christmas.

The Aufschnaufhaus in Jungingen offers short-term accommodation for children and young people with disabilities to relieve the burden on relatives. The "Aufschnaufen" made possible by this is meant to be a support for the families. Further information: https://www.aufschnaufhaus.de/ (opens in a new window)
