The scholarship covers travel and accommodation costs in Belgium for a one month long internship.

What is supported?
- Short internship in Antwerp, Belgium:
The internship takes place at the company 28 VISUALS in Belgium: A video production house in Antwerp specialized in telling stories in a digital world.
"We create, film and edit videos for all types of companies like Microsoft, JBC, Pepsi Max, ... We work together with freelancers and take care of the customer's needs from A to Z. But we would like to optimize our company and take some more time to put ourselves in the spotlight. That's why we are looking for an intern who can help us grow our audience and our business."
- Funding duration: One month in 2024. The exact start date can be choosen flexibly.
- Scholarship amount: 1,075€ for the stay in Belgium (accommodation costs) + 225€ for mobility (travel costs) = 1,300€ altogether
Tasks:
Business optimization:
- Create tailor-made quotations
- Create material lists for our stock
- Create freelancer file
- Researching competition
- Search for possible collaborations
- Approaching new customers
- Optimize video productions
Social media:
- Make a social media planning
- Coming up with post ideas for social media
- Copywriting
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of English
- Enrolled student at HNU (Bachelor or Master)
Application for the scholarship

How to apply:
- You (the student) apply directly to 28 Visuals via mail for your desired position.
- If your application is succesfull, they set up an online job interview with you.
- If both sides are happy, an internship contract is made between you and 28 Visuals.
- 28 Visuals then informs us (ISUL scholarship Team) about your internship.
- We prepare the scholarship contract, which will be signed by you and by two representative professors from HNU.
- Six weeks before the start of the internship the scholarship money is transferred to your bank account.
- After the internship you are asked to write a short report about your internship and your time in Belgium, which will be published on ISUL's LinkedIn page and HNU's website.

Amount of the scholarship:
Payment = mobility flat-rate + residence flat-rate.
Example: One month internship in Belgium = 225€ mobility flat rate + 1,075€ residence flat rate = 1,300€ in one payment
As this is a flat-rate funding, individual expenses (e.g. flight ticket, hotel, participation fee) are not reimbursed but are already covered by the payment of the scholarship.
