mHealth Journal Club

Journal clubs are meetings of scientists and prospective scientists in the academic field, at which current scientific publications are presented and critically discussed.

Lecture Content

Each week, one student gives a presentation on a current scientific publication of his or her choice, which is then critically discussed by the panel.
This includes:

  • Researching a relevant, recent article (publication in a peer-reviewed journal/conference paper) from academia
  • Preparing and giving a presentation on this paper
  • Critical discussion of one's own and others' contributions in the form of prepared questions and active, argumentative discourse following each presentation
