Topics and fields of application research, teaching, transfer

The current fields of work of the laboratory include the following topics:

  • Development of innovative presentation formats for online and mobile (current focus: economic and financial topics for Generation Z)
  • Database of digital tools for the creation of target group-specific content Online
  • Postgraduate studies and e-learning in various fields, including mobile reporting, business, financial and consumer journalism
  • National and international exchange of relevant research results  

Specific laboratory equipment and facilities

The media laboratory has a newsroom, a recording studio including a connected control room and two post-production rooms. The rooms are multifunctional and equipped with modern technology. In addition to the multifunctional use, the focus of the planning was also on the simple operability of the equipment, which resulted, among other things, in an LED wall. Professional audio and video recordings can be realised and post-processed in the media laboratory.
