At this year's ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management) conference, around 200 participants from 30 countries came together in Salzburg to take part in over 120 presentations, workshops and panel discussions in the field of innovation management. Among the speakers were a total of eight professors, research assistants and IfE members from HNU, who presented their research to an international audience of experts.
Broad conference participation of HNU researchers with diverse research topics
At the beginning of the conference, HNU Professor Dr. Daniel Schallmo led the hot-topic discussion under the question "Twin Transition - How can we combine digital transformation and sustainability for the future?", in which international researchers actively participated. He also focused on digital and sustainable tourism in the presentation of his research. Prof. Dr. Jens Kolb presented the perception of sustainability seals, which were analyzed in a cross-cultural study in Germany and France. Sarah Leible gave an insight into sustainability requirements for founders in the fashion industry. The presentation by Vanessa Robertson (HNU-Africa Institute) focused on lessons for sustainable fashion start-ups and consumer attitudes towards renting clothing. Tal Berman (Johannesburg Business School, South Africa) presented a joint study with Prof. Dr. Daniel Schallmo and Dr. Chris Williams on research on digital leadership as a driver for successful digital entrepreneurship. The contribution by Kirill Semenkin, who co-authored a paper with Prof. Dr. Klaus Lang, is dedicated to a novel approach to the use of AI for predictive lead scoring (PLS). IfE member Prof. Dr. Roman Grinblat (DHBW) presented his paper on legal, political and economic implications for AI laws and healthcare.
