Prof. Dr. Jens Kolb expands the Institute's management, which until now has consisted of Prof. Dr. Daniel Schallmo and Prof. Dr. Jens Pätzmann, and will contribute his expertise in the areas of digital transformation, sustainable digitalisation and technology management.
The computer scientist completed his doctorate in the context of user-centred process management at the University of Ulm. He subsequently takes on the role of managing director at the digital agency Lemonize GmbH, focusing on the areas of corporate development, human resources, sales and project management. In August 2022, Jens Kolb moved to Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) to take on the professorship for digitalisation and technology management.
In the past, the focus of his research was on user-centred process management and process automation - in other words, the intersection of the research fields of computer science, business administration and psychology.
At HNU, his focus is on sustainable digitalisation - in other words:
- How can technology help us achieve a positive impact?
- What impact does digitalisation have on sustainability?
