Award for re­search as­so­ci­ate: Fe­lix Holl is Fel­low of AMIA 2023

Felix Holl, research associate at the DigitHealth Institute at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), has been named a Fellow of the American Medical Information Association (FAMIA) 2023 for his achievements in the field of applied informatics in healthcare. The scientist received his certificate of appointment in May at the AMIA Clinical Information Conference in Chicago.

With its Fellow Programme, AMIA - a leading US organisation for informatics in healthcare - recognises exceptional contributions and professional achievements of members who apply their informatics knowledge and skills to their practice.
Felix Holl is one of 70 AMIA members recognised in the programme this year. The new fellows selected for the programme have demonstrated leadership in their fields and continue to advance healthcare through informatics, explained AIMA President Gretchen Purcell Jackson, MD Phd.

The HNU scientist's dissertation focuses on evaluation methods for mobile health applications. He studied information management in healthcare and completed a master's degree in global health sciences as a Fulbright scholar. His research interest is the use of informatics in the field of global health.
