At the October event, Tobias Ruf, Vice President at Wanzl GmbH & Co. KgaA, presented the company's experience with IoT solutions for retail. In the process, Wanzl also uses visual AI systems.
Andreas Bayer, Commercial Director at the TTZ, then provided information about the opportunities for collaboration with the TTZ. In addition to contract research and theses, the focus was on funding opportunities for research and development projects.
"With the Business Network, we are taking the first step toward transferring findings from research to companies. Conversely, the university gains access to data and empirical knowledge from industry," said Prof. Dr. Philipp Brune, explaining the university's objectives in the transfer area.
