Social Acceptance of Green Technologies: 4th BayWiss Network Meeting in Illertissen

22.09.2022, Research :

The 4th network meeting of the BayWISS Group College Life Sciences and Green Technologies will take place this year in the Vöhlinschloss in Illertissen: On 04 November 2022, PhD lectures, a Science Café and a panel discussion will be dedicated to the social acceptance of Green Technologies. Registration is now open.

How can the innovations and sustainable developments arising from research in areas such as energy and land use, or digitization and technologization also gain acceptance and support among the general public? This and other pressing questions will be addressed by the members of the BayWiss Group for Life Sciences and Green Technologies at this year's network meeting. Current research projects will be presented by the young scientists of the Verbundkolleg and examined under the aspect of acceptance. Using geothermal energy as an example, the problem of acceptance will be highlighted and discussed with experts in a panel discussion.

All professors, doctoral candidates and students at Bavarian universities of applied sciences and universities who are interested in a collaboration and/or doctorate in the field of application-related life sciences and the goal of sustainable developments are cordially invited to participate in the network meeting. The event is also open to the interested public.

Registration is open until October 21 via https://life-sciences.baywiss.de/4-netzwerktreffen.
