HNU strengthens uni­versity part­ner­ships in Asia

The President of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser, visited partner universities in Vietnam and India together with HNU Professor Dr. Klaus Lang at the end of January. The aim of the trip was to maintain existing collaborations and initiate new partnerships for teaching, research and transfer - particularly in the areas of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

In Vietnam, Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser and Prof. Dr. Klaus Lang, Director of the Institute for Digital Transformation at HNU, visited the Foreign Tade University (FTU) and the Vietnam National University - University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB) in Hanoi as well as the Vietnamese German University (VGU) in Ho Chi Minh City.

After a tour of the new FTU campus, the HNU and FTU representatives looked back on previous developments and experiences in the student exchange program, which has been in place since 2017. They then talked about the future of the partnership and renewed the joint exchange agreement. Prof. Lang gave a lecture to students and deans on the topic of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

Visiting the Vietnam National University - University of Economics and Business

The focus of the visit to the VNU-UEB was, in addition to an exchange of experiences on the partnership that has existed since 2017, the signing of a new exchange agreement with the aim of attracting Vietnamese students as exchange students at HNU.

Meeting with the Vietnamese German University
