23.11.2023, University News :

On 16 and 17 November, research assistants Verena Mattes and Sarah Leible from Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) presented the International Startup League (ISUL) project at this year's German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) project conference on the HAW.International program. A total of 70 projects were presented at the conference in Nuremberg, and there was also room for networking among the project representatives.

The HAW.International programme provides financial support for internationalization projects at universities of applied sciences. The "International Startup League" (ISUL) project is one of these projects and will be funded from 2022-2025.

In addition to several keynote speeches and a panel discussion, the focus was on networking between the project representatives from the various German universities. During the 90 minutes of the HNU poster presentation, many interested people came by to find out more about the ISUL project and its various sub-projects. Through the exchange with the representatives of the other project universities, many thematic overlaps could be found and thus tips and ideas could be exchanged. There was also the opportunity to get to know the DAAD staff in person.

The ISUL project pursues the following three project objectives:

Strengthening international cooperation
Expansion of digital, international and practice-oriented study programs
Promoting networking between teaching, administration and research
