Wieland-Werke AG supports sustainable campus design at HNU with third water dispenser

30.01.2025, Postgraduate:

The Centre for Postgraduate and Professional Studies at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) took another step towards a more sustainable campus on 24 January 2025. The third water dispenser, which was once again provided by Wieland-Werke AG, was inaugurated in Club Room D.

The new water dispenser is an environmentally friendly alternative to disposable bottles and helps to reduce plastic consumption on campus. Students and staff benefit from free, fresh water, which not only promotes health, but also underlines the commitment of HNU and its partners such as Wieland to sustainable solutions.

Wieland had already made it possible to equip the canteen (Building A) and cafeteria (Building B) with water dispensers in 2024. The successful partnership is now being continued with the third device.

"Sustainability is a central component of our corporate culture. By supporting the HNU, we want to help make the everyday lives of students and employees more sustainable and at the same time promote the importance of responsible behaviour in terms of the environment," says Nadja Müller from HR Marketing and the Employer Branding team at Wieland-Werke AG.

The inauguration of the third water dispenser impressively demonstrates how theoretical concepts become practical measures - for the benefit of the university, its members and the environment.
