02.07.2024, Transfer :

On June 20, the Founders Space at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) celebrated its third anniversary. With inspiring talks and a look back at the eventful time since its foundation, interested parties from a wide range of fields had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other. Afterwards, a relaxed get-together with burgers and pizza provided space for informal networking.

Founders Space celebrated its anniversary in mid-June with around 200 partners, founders and supporters. After a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Thomas Bayer, Head of Founders Space, and his deputy Martin Schwarz, the highlights of the past three years were reviewed. Insights into the challenges and lessons of failure as a young entrepreneur were then provided in the presentation by Jannik von Lerchenfeld.

With tasty burgers from the grill and musical accompaniment from the band SumNight38, in which HNU Founders Space Coach Michael Junger plays, there was plenty of opportunity for relaxed networking and exchange within the diverse community. At the end of the evening, DJs provided a relaxed atmosphere and a cozy conclusion to the event.

Three years of HNU Founders Space

When it opened in 2021, the Founders Space set itself the goal of creating an innovative space for ideas, start-up projects and exchange at eye level, open to all those interested in founding a company. This goal has been successfully achieved: Highlights include offers such as start-up consultations, coaching sessions, start-up talks, start-up dinners, event formats and workshops. Under the motto "No idea is too unusual", the Founders Space staff continuously support all students, alumni and employees of HNU who are interested in founding a company, as well as their external cooperation partners and co-founders.
