Vis­it­ing pro­fessor at the Jo­han­nes­burg Busi­ness School for doc­toral stu­dents in di­gital trans­form­a­tion

Close cooperation between Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) and the University of Johannesburg (UJ): HNU Professor Dr. Daniel Schallmo has been appointed Visiting Professor of Digital Transformation at the Johannesburg Business School (JBS), a department of the UJ.  As part of the Doctor of Philospohy (DPhil) program, he will supervise doctoral students in the field of Digital Transformation from February 2024 to January 2027.

The aim of the DPhil program is to train leaders who develop solutions to real-world business and societal challenges. Participants embrace a combination of intensive research and practical application supported by academic precision and critical thinking.

The visiting professorship recognizes the experience and expertise of Prof. Dr. Daniel Schallmo, who is Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability (IfE) at HNU and a member of the Institute for Digital Transformation (IDT). At the JBS, he will supervise doctoral students who have specialized in the field of digital transformation and teach a module within the doctoral program.
