Creative, artistic and culturally valuable: students presented their creative work as part of the elective module "Culture Project" at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) cultural evening. The spectrum of artistic projects presented ranged from analog photography to animations.

On January 12, 2024, the cultural evening took place at the HNU, where students gave a comprehensive insight into their creative work in their final presentations.

Artistic, handcrafted, musical

One of the many different projects was the "Crochet Project", in which three students joined forces to crochet different shapes and figures - from small heart pendants to a small elephant. In another project, a student designed posters presenting his design ideas and the development of his online store, through which he also sells the posters. Other projects included the production of individual pieces of jewelry or the programming of a computer game. In addition, a student showed various buildings through the lens of analog photography in a series of photographs.

The programme also included a performance by the HNU choir, which was organized by a student who took part in the choir as part of the course.

Personal development through cultural competence

The compulsory elective module "Culture Project" has been offered at HNU since the summer semester 2020 and enables students to further develop their skills and abilities in the creative and cultural field.

Under the direction of Professor Dr. Ulrike Gerdiken, students had the freedom to develop their own project ideas and explore cultural engagement and social contexts.
