HNU graduate Maike Netscher has been nominated for the EHI Foundation and GS1 Germany Science Prize worth a total of 65,000 euros for her master's thesis in the Advanced Sales Management and Intelligence course. The prize is awarded annually to young scientists and start-ups for excellent work and projects.

Maike Netscher, now a research assistant at the Competence Center for Growth and Sales Strategies at HNU, dedicated her thesis to the topic of smart stores under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander Kracklauer. The graduate of the Advanced Sales Management and Intelligence (SMI) master's program examined the customer acceptance of smart stores in stationary food retailing and identified significant technology acceptance factors. With this highly topical subject, Maike Netscher made it onto the shortlist for the Science Prize 2024 - she will now be able to present her work in person to a jury of experts. The nomination recognizes the outstanding achievement of the HNU graduate and underlines the quality and relevance of the scientific and practice-oriented education in the SMI degree program.

The science prize will be awarded on February 28, 2024 in Düsseldorf.
