Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Kai-Thorsten Zwecker and Prof. Dr. Erik Rederer, students gain practical insights into the field of compliance and work on a task from everyday practice as part of the annual concept seminar.
This year, 32 students worked together with the compliance department of the mp group under the professional supervision of Dr Kathrin Zwecker to develop practical concepts on the topics of sustainability, supply chains, auditing, internal investigations, compliance organisation and communication. They then presented these to the management at the headquarters at NIppenburg Castle in Schwieberdingen. The commercial director of the mp group, Clifton Dowling, gave an enthusiastic summary: "I am deeply impressed by the results the students have achieved within one semester. The learning achievements are gigantic and the results will certainly flow into our compliance management system. This is exactly what education at a university should look like."
