Start of the part-time MBAs in the winter semester 21/22

27.09.2021, Postgraduate :

Here we go again! Classroom teaching with a hygiene concept and 3-G rule in continuing education at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, brings twenty MBA starters and other MBA students back to the seminar rooms at HNU.

The course directors, lecturers and staff of the continuing education programme were looking forward to the start of the semester. In compliance with the general conditions, the participants met for introductory events and lectures at the Centre for Postgraduate Studies.

What all the new students have in common is the desire to actively further their education and to advance their own careers through part-time study. Because continuing education makes the difference!

From now on, the newly learned management instruments and personnel management strategies can be directly implemented by the students in their own everyday professional life. A high degree of practical relevance characterises the continuing education courses, which lead to a Master of Business Administration in five semesters. Experienced lecturers and the exchange with participants of their own degree programme are a valuable plus. This also enables self-reflection on one's own leadership personality.

This week is also the International Study Week of the MBA Leadership and Management in Healthcare. Eleven speakers from the healthcare industry, including alumni and renowned speakers with practical experience, provide exciting insights into the healthcare systems of other countries. For example, the digitalisation of the Swiss healthcare system, the healthcare industry in Russia and Saudi Arabia and the special features of the Dutch healthcare system and the USA will be examined in detail. Global and international strategies in the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology and health policy developments are also highlighted and discussed. In addition, the field of nursing in the international environment is discussed.

All in all, a study week packed with valuable expert knowledge and practical experience reports, which does justice to the international orientation of the MBA courses. After all, one of the requirements placed on aspiring managers today is foresight.

The Centre for Postgraduate Studies extends a warm welcome to all participants. We wish you an exciting and successful time at Neu-Ulm University.
