Due to the special circumstances, all network meetings and seminars, except for the closing event, took place completely digitally. Despite the doors that closed as a result, just as many new ones opened: A weekly digital lunch break became the small weekly highlight for many mentors and mentees, where there was always a lively, relaxed exchange.
Closing event live and in colour
The closing event was certainly another highlight, because here the mentees and mentors were able to see each other live and in colour for the first time after almost a year at the closing meeting! A special item on the evening's programme was the talk by Lisa Miller, the director of the film "Landrauschen". She was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize for this film, among others. She told in a very touching and humorous way what a rollercoaster ride her life and career had been up to this award. Her anecdotes and stories are a great source of inspiration to continue pursuing one's passion even when the road is rocky. She is a great role model for taking oneself and one's dreams seriously and pursuing them consistently, even when obstacles arise. Her keynote speech was the perfect conclusion to a great series of seminars, lectures and workshops that BayernMentoring has to offer.
