In­ter­na­tional study week at the HNU - in­ter­est­ing in­sights into in­ter­na­tional busi­ness pro­cesses in­cluded

Looking beyond the horizon to international business processes is what students currently succeed in doing during the international study week at HNU. This study week is a popular compulsory part of the part-time MBA programs and is always planned as an excursion abroad. This time it is different, but no less interesting!
 

Because this semester the study week with exciting insights into international topics takes place directly at the HNU and at regional companies or clinics. A full week of top-class lectures, which offers deep insights into international contexts, peppered with high practical relevance, awaits the students.

Lectures for the MBA Leadership and Management in Healthcare are for example:

 "Utilisation and Access to African Health Systems - An Example from Malawi", with Prof. Dr. T. Kapapa from the University Hospital of Ulm Also on the program is "International Management Development in a Global Group" with S. Jordan, HR Director Teva/ratiopharm and Dr. Max D. Singh, Global Director - Orthopedic Focus Team, TÜV SÜD, will report on the "Challenges facing the medical device industry in internationalization".

One topic of the MBA General Management will be "Global Treasury - Practical Implementation and Challenges using the Example of Wieland Werke AG" with Fabian Schwarz, Director Wieland Werke AG, Ulm. Alumnus Oliver Poch-Martinez, Head of manufacturing engineering assembly, Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH, reports on his experiences as an MBA graduate in an international aerospace group. A further highlight is, for example, an insight by Stefan Pirker, Head of Production System Plant, Hirschvogel Automotive Group, Denklingen. He reports on the "Implementation of a Lean Management Concept in the supply chain and manufacturing area of an internationally operating automotive supplier". In addition, a live case study will be conducted throughout the week.

In addition to the examples mentioned above, there will be many other interesting presentations. The group of students of the MBA Digital Leadership and IT Management was able to complete their excursion abroad to South Africa, Cape Town, in early March 2020.
