Reflecting on their own cultural trade brought the students many new insights about themselves, their abilities, but also about hurdles that need to be overcome when implementing projects. Creativity cannot be forced when writing texts - sometimes it takes detours that seem to lead away from the goal and only then clear the way for the emergence of something new. Or the self-critical examination of what is important to me and causes astonishment elsewhere. For example the passionate living together with dogs: In some European countries they are perceived as a plague - here they are the elixir of life for many! And how in the world does one get the idea of transplanting an allotment garden into a handcart?
If you've become curious, why don't you register for the cultural programme in the coming winter semester and find out more about yourself, your values and your skills!
