On the death of Dr. Jörg Han­isch

The Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) mourns the death of Dr. Jörg Hanisch. The former chairman university council passed away on 23 June 2020. He was buried on 2 July 2020.
 

Dr. Jörg Hanisch, lawyer (Of Counsel), was involved in the HNU from 2007 to 2015 as chairman of the university council. He was also highly appreciated as a member of the Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2019.
Dr. Hanisch was also active at the Technische Hochschule Ulm (THU): From 2000 to 2009 he was a founding member and board member of the University Council of the Hochschule Ulm (now THU). In addition, he supported the university as a legal expert for three terms of office.
His commitment in the region was untiring and multifaceted: Among other things, Dr. Hanisch was a member of the board of directors of Wieland-Werke AG until 2007, and he was also chairman of the election committee of the Ulm Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) on several occasions and chairman of the board of the Ulm Hospice Foundation.
HNU President Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser: "Dr. Hanisch was a valuable part of our university community, which he shaped through his commitment for over ten years. We will miss him very much. Our sincere condolences go to his family and his numerous companions."
