De­vel­op­ment of a go-to-mar­ket strategy for a di­gital com­merce plat­form at Wanzl

Professors Fabian and Kracklauer and the students from the master's programme in Brand & Sales Management were warmly welcomed to Wanzl Metallwarenfabrik GmbH last Wednesday by Jürgen Frank (Head of Marketing and Product Management) and Martin Dambacher (Team Leader Corporate Communications). The reason for the excursion was the briefing held as part of the concept seminar.

Mr Frank first introduced us to the Wanzl family business and its history. He then reported to us on the changes in the retail trade and the challenges that come with them and presented us with the answers that Wanzl has to them. We were then guided through the impressive showroom, where the fascinating range of Wanzl products can be experienced up close. Mr. Dambacher then presented us with the concept for the relaunch of the company's homepage: The aim is to transform the product homepage into a worldwide brand and sales portal. In the next few weeks, our students of the master's programme will support Wanzl by developing a go-to-market strategy for a digital commerce platform.
To conclude this exciting morning, Wanzl invited us to a joint snack in the foyer. We would like to thank Mr Frank and Mr Dambacher for their time and their friendly welcome at Wanzl!
