Unit: Facility Management
Facility Management at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences is responsible for the operation of the technical building equipment (TGA), the management, maintenance and care of our buildings and outdoor facilities. Ensuring functionality and value retention are top priorities in building management in order to guarantee smooth teaching operations. Furthermore, the building management team offers support for internal university events.
Areas of facility management
Operation and control of the technical building equipment (TGA)
This is checked daily and regularly maintained. Should errors or defects occur, our operating technology department will ensure that repairs are carried out as quickly as possible. A modern building management system (GLT) is available to control the technical building equipment. This enables the systems to be adjusted according to the respective requirements of the university.
Management, care and maintenance of university buildings and outdoor areas
This includes the support and coordination of all service and specialist companies as well as energy and water suppliers. Facility management is also responsible for the organisation of logistics and removal services as well as transport management.
Caretaker services
The caretaker's office is located:
- In house A, purple staircase on the ground floor (room A.0. 13) - directly at the exit towards the lake.
- In house B, next to main staircase on the right on the ground floor (room B.0.02)

Opening hours
Monday to Thursday: 8.00 – 16.30 pm
Friday: 8.00 – 14.00 pm
During the semester breaks the opening hours are limited.
