3. Purpose
The personal data collected by Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences on the registration form on the website (company, first name, surname of contact person, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, matriculation number and course of study for students) is collected for the purpose of event organisation or, with separate consent, for information about events at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences in general.

4. Legal basis
The legal basis for the processing of the personal data provided for the above-mentioned purposes is derived from Art. 6 Par. 1 letter e DSGVO in conjunction with Art. 4 BayDSG and Art. 2 BayHSchG and, if applicable, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, in cases where consent is granted.

5. Storage duration
We store your data in each case only until the purpose of the data storage ceases to apply, as long as no legal retention periods, obligations to provide evidence or periods of limitation, which enable the prosecution of resulting claims, oppose the deletion (in this case the processing of the data is restricted in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO) or, in cases of consent, as long as this consent has not been revoked.

6. Transfer to third parties
A passing on of the data to third parties does not take place in principle.

7. Data security
To protect the personal data we manage against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we use the most modern technical and organizational security measures, which are continuously improved. The data entered in the registration form is transmitted in encrypted form (SSL).

8. Photo and video recordings
During events at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences, photos, sound and film recordings may be made which are published in various online and offline media.  This will be pointed out in the registration process for the event as well as on site. These recordings are linked to the visual representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is random. The images will be displayed on the university's homepage, print media and social media channels. This also applies to events offered in cooperation with third parties.
By entering the event rooms, we assume the existence of the participant's consent to the free publication in the aforementioned manner and dissemination and/or temporally unrestricted storage and making available of the recorded image, sound and film material as part of the public relations work of Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. In any case, the personal rights remain protected.
Should the participant not agree to the recording and/or publication of his or her person, we request that he or she inform the photographer directly at the event or directly to Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences.

9. Your rights

• You have the right to receive information from the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences about the data stored about you and/or to have incorrectly stored data corrected. To do so, please contact the university as the person responsible or the data protection officer.
• You also have the right to request deletion or restriction of processing or the right to object to processing.
• Furthermore, in the event that you have given your consent to the processing, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time, whereby the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation is not affected.
