Games.Kickstart: Students present projects in the field of game development

11.07.2024, Study:

In the summer semester 2024, the eSports team at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) once again organised the Games.Kickstart event, which offered students the opportunity to present their semester projects in the field of game development. The event took place on 19 July 2024 at HNU.

Presentation of new game developments at Games.Kickstart

Games.Kickstart is not only a presentation platform for students and their game developments, but also offers them the opportunity to delve deeper into the world of games and exchange ideas with other games enthusiasts and game developers. The programme includes stands, pitches and interactive activities.

Participating groups had the opportunity to present their project to fellow students and guests at a self-designed stand - comparable to exhibitors presenting their game at a games convention. A special highlight was the assessment of all game developments by a jury, which selected the best project of the semester. The winning group was then allowed to present their project again in a short pitch.

In addition, a supporting programme organised by HNU eSports offered participants and guests the opportunity to exchange ideas and enter into dialogue across the semester. Friends, family and all interested parties were cordially invited to take part in the convention.
