The specialization Entrepreneurship covers everything about founding a startup. After the theory has been taught, the TOPSIM Startup software is used to simulate practice and found a service company. Initially, small teams create a business model canvas, develop a business plan, pitch to a fictitious investor, and found and manage a company. At each stage, teams receive feedback from the instructor. Within six game periods, they worked on topics such as raising capital, personnel planning, market analysis and other issues and tried to keep their own start-up successfully on the market by competing against each other.
In order to provide students with in-depth insights into start-up practice as well as opportunities to start their own start-up at HNU, a guided tour of the Founders Space and familiarization with current start-up activities took place. This also provided a good opportunity to link the Faculty of Health Management more closely with Founders Space. Individual course participants have even started their own start-up projects!
It was particularly interesting to get to know the start-up OSORA, as it deals with a health topic, the simulation of the bone healing process, and was founded immediately before the event.
