Digital Leadership – Leading and working in the digital age

30.06.2020, Transfer :

The Institute for Digital Transformation (IDT) of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences invited to this complex of topics on 24.06.2020. The third IDT Open LAB took place online via Webex with about 25 participants from digitisation areas of different industries.

In today's world, digitization affects virtually all industries. Industry 4.0 is leading the way. To shape digital transformation, companies need new leaders and new forms of collaboration. Existing management styles, working methods, business models and structures must be adapted.

These exciting impulse lectures gave an insight into the topic:

  • "Digital Leadership - Trends, Challenges and Success Factors" - Daniel Schallmo, Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences
  • "Lateral guidance - a toothless tiger?" - Miriam Hunger, Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH
  • "Influencing Transformation Process Binding through Digital Leadership" - Matthias Schneider, Schwenk Zement KG
  • "Modern Work - Modern Perspectives - Modern Leadership: What opportunities does the New Work approach bring for tomorrow's leadership style?" - Manuel Staiger, IT sure GmbH

Those responsible for digitisation use the virtual IDT Open LAB as an opportunity to take ideas with them and exchange them with each other.

To mark: The next IDT Open Lab will take place on October 21, 2020, under the motto "StartUp culture - what established companies can learn from it".
