Introduction week 2024
Welcome to HNU! On this page you will find everything you need for a successful start to your studies. We await you with varied activities to introduce you to your degree programme and to get to know your fellow students.
Your studies begin with the legendary "O-Phase" (orientation phase). On this page you will find information about the schedule and the planned events.

What awaits you?
We take you by the hand: In the "O-Phase" you are introduced to university life and your degree programme and meet your fellow students during the get-to-know-you activities of the student council. The business game prepares you for your studies with a business task and teamwork.
Pre-courses
It is possible to take preliminary courses for various degree programmes. For example, there are maths or programming courses. If there is no preliminary course, you have the option of taking the "Online Mathematik Brückenkurs".

| 11:30 | Welcome by the university management The speech by the Vice President of HNU, Dr. Kormann, provides an introduction to the university and the city. Afterwards, the student representatives (StuVer) will provide information about the further course of the orientation phase and give an insight into student life. | Lecture halls in the A building |
| 12:30 | Bavarian veal sausage breakfast Enjoy delicious food with veal sausage, vegan and halal options, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Perfect for getting to know each other and fortifying yourself for the subsequent city rally. | Canteen in the A building |
14:30 | City rally The city rally is an entertaining exploration tour through the city, where you take part in exciting games and discover the surroundings. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and find your way around the city in a fun way. | Meeting point, foyer in the A building |
