Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Real Reality (3R) Logistics Living Lab (3L)
Until now, laboratories have been limited to real laboratory facilities. However, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) are opening up new technologies as well as new formats of knowledge transfer in laboratories. The 3R3L therefore supports regional companies (and especially SMEs) in answering these questions:
- How do these technologies work?
- In which applications can these technologies be used?
- How can these technologies be made economically viable?
In the HNU's Three Realities Logistics Living Lab (short: 3R3L laboratory) new technologies are tested for use cases in logistics. These include augmented reality solutions in order picking, 3D printing in spare parts supply and technically innovative transport solutions (e.g. ground drones).
