Research network in bav. Swabia
The primary aim of the network is to create networks within the universities by means of joint research projects and cooperative doctorates. The introduction of the TBS research professorships at the HNU with the doctoral positions located there is an important step towards the successful implementation of the research mandate to HAW.
Fields of work
TBS field Health Care Management
In this field of work, the HNU works closely with the TBS partner universities, the University of Augsburg and HAW Kempten. Joint completed and ongoing research projects are mainly located at the interface between information and health management. The research and development of needs-based and individualised as well as preventive and care services as a steadily growing economic sector in the region is the focus of the activities of the two TBS research professors Dr. Walter Swoboda and Dr. Heiko Gewald and their teams.
TBS field Resource Efficiency
Due to the specific specialisation of the partner universities, the research activities in this subject area are mainly carried out at the University of Augsburg and the HAW Kempten and Augsburg. However, the HNU is also active in this field. The research activities of the TBS research professor Dr. Oliver Kunze focus on the focal points of resource-saving new logistics concepts, urban logistics and risk management.
