Professorin Dr. Uta M. Feser

Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser graduated in Business and Economics from the Friedrich‐Alexander Universität, Erlangen‐Nürnberg. In 1990 she received her PhD for a thesis on professional education in the banking industry. She worked in the health sector as Head of Controlling for EKT AG – Europäische Klinik Treuhand und Management AG, Nuremberg and as Team Leader for Health Care Management in the business advisory services of Rödl & Partner, over the following ten years.

In 2000 Uta M. Feser was appointed full Professor for Health Care Management at Neu‐Ulm University of Applied Sciences where she was responsible for the MBA programme for medical doctors. She also acted as an Associate Lecturer at Ulm University. Her research focus is internationalisation in the health care sector.

In 2006 she was elected president of Neu‐Ulm University of Applied Sciences and re-confirmed in this role in 2009, 2015 and 2020 (elected until 2026).

From 2012 to 2020 Uta M. Feser was Deputy Speaker of the organization Association of the Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences e.V. (registered society) (opens in a new window). In March 2016 she was elected Chair of the Association of the Bavarian Universities of Applied Sciences e.V.

From May 2022, she will represent the universities in the Bavarian Media Council (elected for five years).
