Wel­come to the HNU

This semester, 28 exchange students are studying at the HNU for one or two semesters. They come from our partner universities in Finland, Jordan, Canada, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam. Before the start of lectures in March, they take part in the International Office's orientation programme and the intensive German language course.

In addition, 28 international degree-seeking students are starting their studies in a Bachelor's or Master's programme at the HNU. Their home countries are Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, India, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Pakistan, Peru, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine, Vietnam and Yemen. The International Office offers online orientation sessions for these students at the start of lectures.

All international students are supported by experienced HNU students during their first weeks in Germany as part of the Buddy Programme.
