26.11.2021, Transfer :

As part of a trip from 21 to 26 November 2021, the two heads of the Institute for Entrepreneurship at HNU, Prof. Dr. Daniel Schallmo and Prof. Dr. Jens Pätzmann, have visited four Israeli universities. The planned activities include, for example, joint papers for conferences, excursions and student exchanges as well as cooperation within the framework of the recently won third-party funded project "International Startup League".

The four colleges visited include: The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo; Tel-Hai College in Qiryat Shemona, in the north of Israel; The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College in Tel Adashim, near Nazareth; and Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Ramat Gan, near Tel-Aviv.

On an institutional level, a "Memorandum of Understanding" was signed between Tel-Hai College and HNU. This is an official declaration of intent indicating an intended line of joint action. Such an agreement already exists with the Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo and the College of Management Academic Studies. For the future, it is planned to also sign a "Memorandum of Understanding" with the Max Stern Yezreel Valley College and the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design.

At the project level, future activities in the areas of research, teaching and transfer were discussed. The planned activities include, for example, joint papers for conferences, technical articles for the anthology "Entrepreneurship in the Digital Era", excursions with students, student exchanges and cooperation within the framework of the recently won third-party funded project "International Startup League".

Independent of the agreements at institutional level, there are personal contacts that were expanded during the trip. In addition to Dr. Vered Holzmann, Nurit Hashimshony-Yaffe, Prof. Dr. Eli Gimmon, Mira Hershkovitz, Prof. Dr. Shosh Shahrabani, Dr. Sarah Lev and Tal Berman, Dr. Yael Pedro and Roei Zerahia will also become partners at the Institute for Entrepreneurship in the future.

HNU has already established contacts with Israel in the past. Prof. Dr. Klaus Lang from the Institute for Digital Transformation was the driving force behind this.
