Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) in Bangkok, Thailand (opens in a new window) and Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) have maintained a very active and intensive cooperation for six years now. The focus is on a lively exchange of students and teachers, which also receives financial support from the Erasmus+ programme in the years 2016-2018 and 2019-2022 through scholarships.
Even in times of Corona, the exchange has remained avtive. Thai lecturers have given numerous online guest lectures at the HNU and vice versa. The guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Elmar Steurer, initiator of the Erasmus+ cooperation and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, was very well received. In the winter semester 2021/22, 14 Thai students from the SWU will spend an exchange semester at the HNU. We are looking forward to welcoming them.
