Theory and practice optimally matched: 22 students of business administration with a focus on compliance management at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU) designed innovative compliance strategies for Seeberger GmbH in the summer semester of 2024. Under the direction of Dr. Sven Raab-Stilb, the students worked on various tasks, gained insights into the areas of compliance and white-collar crime at the practice partner and presented their results to the management on 4 July.

Throughout the summer semester 2024, the students worked on various compliance topics under the technical and organizational direction of Dr. Sven Raak-Stilb and the practical guidance of Isabell Schäfer, Sustainability & Compliance Officer at Seeberger GmbH.  These included tasks on compliance whistleblower systems, compliance training, compliance communication and money laundering prevention. The students discovered that the topic of compliance is characterized by a distinct diversity of topics and is becoming increasingly relevant in practice.

Through presentations, written assignments and coaching sessions, the students acquired a broad range of knowledge and immersed themselves in the corporate world of the practice partner. As part of the final presentation on the premises of Seeberger Genusswelt, the course participants presented their work results to the management and senior employees of Seeberger GmbH and then received direct practical feedback.

Gerald Lindinger, Managing Director of Seeberger GmbH, commented on the results as follows: "I am impressed by how comprehensively and practically relevant the students worked on their tasks. We can certainly integrate many of the results into our compliance management system.
