In four interdisciplinary teams from the Business Psychology and Business Studies degree programs, 20 Bachelor students and international exchange students developed proposed solutions for the Electrified Motion division of Robert Bosch GmbH during the summer semester of 2024. On April 12, 2024, the project kick-off workshop took place at the company's site in Schwieberdingen near Stuttgart. The students were given an on-site introduction to Robert Bosch GmbH and the Electrified Motion division, to which Bosch's electrified drive technology will be assigned in the future. The students first learned about the product portfolio and then received an introduction to the four project assignments they would be working on during the semester.
Over the course of the semester, the students carried out research, created benchmarks, conducted expert interviews and developed concepts and proposed solutions in consultation with the company's project supervisors.
The four project teams presented their results on June 21, 2024. The students had developed a variety of innovative solutions that covered the areas of KPI management, strategy alignment, feedback and performance assessments as well as the use of AI.
The practical project work was enriching for the students and gave them the opportunity to apply their knowledge from their studies to real-life issues.
