Organized by the Institute for Digital Transformation (IDT) and moderated by Prof. Dr. Klaus Lang, the event offered a comprehensive insight into the transformative power of new AI tools in modern companies under the motto "Inform, exchange, network". The event, which was fully booked within a few days, attracted around 80 participants, including numerous managers from the Ulm region. They took advantage of the excellent opportunity to learn about and exchange information on the latest developments in the field of AI.
Leading experts discussed various facets of AI applications in companies in six short presentations. The presentations in detail:

- "ChatGPT in content generation: 'From the printing press to personalized news': AI transformation in daily newspaper publishing" | Daniel Torka and Andreas Wöhrl | Neue Pressegesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, Ulm
The "IDT Open Lab" event series contributes to the transfer of expertise between HNU and companies in the region and is now a well-established format that has met with a great response. The next IDT Open Lab will take place on March 27, 2024.
