Mas­ter stu­dents de­velop in­ter­na­tional sales strategies for Carl Zeiss AG

On Monday of this week, the student groups from the master's programme presented their results to Professors Fabian and Kracklauer as well as to company representatives of Carl Zeiss AG at the University Palace in Illertissen.

The practitioners arrived with great expectations and lively interest: Mr. Michael Schiehlen (Senior Director Sales, Service & Marketing of the Customer Care business unit), Mr. Andreas Klavehn (Director Multimedia Devices), Mr. Christian Cramer (Head of Operational Marketing), Ms. Judith Walter (Project Manager Marketing, Sales & Strategy), Mr. Franz Troppenhagen (Product Manager), Mr. Benjamin Hagen (Marketing Manager) and Ms. Anna Bassler (Sales Support).

The groups delivered inspiring results with different strategies for the markets. Hundreds of "gamers" from the gaming world were interviewed. The results of the quantitative market research led to innovative, yet down-to-earth strategies and concept ideas. The Zeiss employees summed up the day as follows: "Ingenious strategy approaches were developed by all groups, from which we are happy to incorporate ideas into our everyday work.
