Study like the grown-ups: Children's University at the HNU

12.09.2024, University News :

Get a taste of university life: children aged eight to ten can do just that on 29 October 2024 at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences' (HNU) Children's University, which is taking place as part of the university's anniversary year. Together with an accompanying person, they are invited to get to know HNU and the campus from 12.30 to 17.30 and feel like students for an afternoon. The programme includes hands-on science, games and a look at the wider world.

In addition to a games meeting in the university library, the children's university also offers a robotics workshop, a quiz round with the International Office and a lecture by the DigiHealth Institute on the topic of "Tumour detection: machine learning in medicine".

The children attend the various Children's University programmes in groups together with their accompanying adults. There is a break after each programme, during which drinks are also provided. In addition, all groups are supervised by a member of HNU staff.

Registration is possible on the HNU website: hnu.de/kinderuni. Registration deadline is 20 October 2024, places are limited.
